Chase Gazelle Ashtray, Art Deco Intaglio Glass and Brass

A wonderful ashtray made by Chase Brass Co. Thick intaglio glass with three gazelles running around the ashtray. Brass, flip top cover with Chase's classic logo of a centaur shooting a bow.
The glass has a couple small chips/fleabites on the top rim that could easily be polished out. The brass top has a patina and a couple spots of light corrosion forming.
Chase items are typically very high priced and this one is classic Art Deco. A very unusual and highly desirable example of this company's work. Size is about 2.5" high and 4.5" wide.
