Handmade Necklace, Sterling Silver, Turquoise, Red Long Branch Coral
$75.00
Here is a sharp looking necklace done in a western style. The central part of the necklace alternates between sterling silver beads, turquoise nuggets, and red long-branch coral. This was made back in the 1970's, when I was exploring my Native American roots. Back then you could get good, blue turquoise (not the inferior green you see so much today). You could also get long-branch coral, which today is no longer legally available due to overharvesting. And the best of it was a rich, deep red, rather than orange, pink, or white.
The bulk of the necklace is liquid silver (sterling silver heishi tubes) with sterling beads inserted. It ends with a sterling silver hook and eye closure. The sterling has tarnished over the years to a rich, dark color. Leave it that way, or polish it back to a bright silver. Total length of the necklace is about 21".
After I made this Indian style jewelry, I put my inventory in storage where it has remained all these years. It's time to get it into the hands of people who will actually wear or display it.

As always, buy more than one item from my shop and I'll combine the shipping. I don't make a profit on shipping like some sellers do. However, etsy's calculator doesn't do well with combined orders, so you may get a partial refund of your shipping cost after you have paid for the order.
Keep in mind that many of my items are one-of-a-kind, and I have local customers looking at them. If you buy something that has just sold locally and wasn't yet removed, the order will be cancelled and your full payment returned to you, unless I have a similar item in stock. You can always contact me before your purchase to confirm the item is still available.
